Our Credit and Return Policy

24 Hour Policy

Seafood Credits and returns are handled separately from our other products. Due to it's highly perishable nature, we require all seafood credits to be called in to our Seafood Department  within 24 hours of receiving the product (800-228-5481 x226). To receive credit for seafood, the item in question MUST be returned to Black River Produce.
Black River Produce reserves the right to deny any credit requests that are not accompanied by a returned product.

Due to the nature of perishable product, it is our company credit policy that Product claims MUST be made within 24 hours. This is noted on every invoice. Product can also be returned to the driver on “Next Day” delivery. All calls made outside normal business hours will be processed the next business day.

Restocking Fee

To request a credit on an order, please contact Tanya Graves @ 802-230-4223. Due to the cost that is involved to return the product to our facility, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee for incorrect or over-ordering. This fee is 25% of the total price of the item/items.
